  • Top speed: 60 kmph
  • Range: 90 km per charge (for the top end variant x) in actual city driving
  • Charging: On board charger. 5 hour charging time with any 16A plug point. No special charging port or equipment required.
  • Can give you a driving distance of 10 km in just 30 mins of charging
  • Battery: Lithium Ferrous phosphate (LFP), 5.6 KWh
  • Automatic transmission, no gears
  • Robin requires registration and a car driver’s license due to its steering wheel. However, it’s the world’s easiest car to learn and drive. 
  • It will be covered under insurance, just like any other electric vehicle on the road.

  • Robin has passed 7 ARAI safety tests including a full frontal crash test for L7 quadricycle category, making it India’s only roadworthy microcar.  
  • Robin’s ground clearance is 160mm, same as the Maruti Alto.
  • Robin is conceived, designed & built in India for India. We have tested Robin in various city-driving conditions across cities like Bangalore, Pune, and Indore, including potholes, turns, parking garages, and flyovers. We will support it with after-sales service wherever we launch.
  • At city speeds, Robin is as safe as any small car.
  • Robin is built with a high strength steel space frame, similar to the way F1 cars are made. It makes it lightweight and yet very strong.
  • This steel skeleton is sandwiched between “skin” (body panels) on the inside and the outside, both of which are plastic composites.
  • Robin’s platform has a skateboard architecture for greater stability and impact resistance
  • Robin’s battery pack uses LFP cells, which are much better suited for hot Indian conditions than the NMC cells used in most 2W and 3W.
  • Seat belts for both driver and passenger.
  • Robin has a patent-pending InstatorqTM  technology for active stability control.
  • Patented audio safety alerts to notify the driver of vehicle health and unsafe use.

Robin car will come with a warranty of 3 years or 30,000 km whichever comes earlier. The battery will have warranty of 5 years or 50,000 km whichever comes earlier. Please check the Warranty Policy for more details.
